The Facility Technician will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, professional services, stock control, supply orders, routine custodial, grounds, and equipment for the facility. The Facility Technician will also ensure a suitable working environment for the organization and provide appropriate reporting, performance measurements, and budgeting.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the Finance Department in assuring accurate and timely financial reporting through a focus on accounts payable, expense tracking, budgets, reporting, and intercompany transactions.
The Tournament and Events Team Member is an active member of the facility crew involved in conversion responsibilities and efficient setup, execution, and break down of events. Duties require converting facility space into competitive sports venues, banquets, conferences, corporate events, tradeshows, etc. and assist in assuring such events run safely and efficiently.
The Sports Programs Assistant will assist Sports Managers and Sports Operations Director with executing Horizons Edge sports events including all operational functions of leagues, tournaments and clinics, administrative duties, and event evaluations.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for organizing daily operations and motivating café staff to provide excellent customer service. The Café Supervisor’s responsibilities include scheduling shifts for café staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues, and ordering supplies as needed.
The Sports Coordinator will oversee the execution of various Horizons Edge sports programs, including leagues, clinics, tournaments, coaching, refereeing, and any other related programs. This position will work closely with the Sports Operations Director, Sports Managers, and other Sport Coordinators as well as other internal departments (Operations, Marketing, etc.) to successfully accomplish the responsibilities listed below. This position will operate in a capacity of 40 hours per week.
The Manager of Soccer Operations and Club Director will work directly with the Horizons Edge Director of Sports Operations to guide Shenandoah Valley United (SVU), Edge adult soccer programs and associated staff in executing their positions in order to uphold expectations in building a developmentally appropriate, inclusive culture across all soccer programs.
Referees will officiate league games. Their primary functions are to explain and enforce rules, assess penalties, signal the start and end of games, approve player credentials, and inspect sports equipment prior to the start of games. Referees at Horizons Edge are used in sporting competitions for basketball, flag football, soccer and volleyball.
