Adult Basketball League Information
Play competitive or recreational basketball year-round at Horizons Edge. Our adult basketball leagues offer divisions for all skill levels in a great facility with quality officiating.
- Age Requirement: Must be 17 years and 6 months old to participate in Adult Basketball at Horizons Edge.
- Season: 10-week season. (9) Regular season games plus a 1 game/1 week playoff for the top 4 teams in each division.
- Game Days/Times: See league information below for specific division information. Games are typically played on Mondays beginning at 7:00pm.
- Please do not print the schedule as it is subject to change.
- Rosters must be finalized by week 6 of each league season.
- Teams must wear the same-colored jersey/shirt with a number. No two players can share the same number on the same team.
Note: Game times are subject to an earlier start or later game time based on facility availability.
Schedules for each season will be released at least a week prior to the season starting. Each division must have a minimum of four (4) teams registered to run. Teams may be offered to play in a different division or season if this minimum is not met.
Men's A Division
- Overview: This is the top tier of competition at Horizons Edge Sports Campus. Division A features the most competitive and experienced teams — the highest level of play and the ultimate goal for ambitious players striving to compete at an elite level.
- Teams: 6–8 teams, depending on total registrations.
- Promotion/Relegation: Top-performing teams solidify their status as the premier teams at Horizons Edge. Lower-performing teams may be considered for relegation to Division B to maintain competitive balance.
Men's B Division
- Overview: Division B is the second tier and includes strong, competitive teams just below the elite Division A level. It features a blend of rising talent and experienced players looking to advance.
- Teams: 6–8 teams.
- Promotion/Relegation: Top teams earn the opportunity for promotion to Division A. Lower-ranked teams may be relegated to Division C.
Men's C Division
- Overview: Division C serves as the middle tier. Teams remain competitive but may show more variation in skill and experience. Ideal for teams developing consistency and working to climb the ranks.
- Teams: 6–8 teams.
- Promotion/Relegation: Top teams may be promoted to Division B. Lower-performing teams may be relegated to the Social Division (if applicable).
Social Division
- Overview: Designed for recreational players and teams focused on fun, fitness, and community. While games remain organized and structured, the emphasis is on participation and enjoyment rather than intense competition.
- Teams: 6–10 teams, depending on interest.
- Promotion/Relegation: Top Social teams may have the opportunity to move into Division C if they choose. No mandatory promotion or relegation.
Drop-In Division
- Overview: Drop-In play offers flexible participation for individuals who want to play without committing to a full season. Ideal for players with variable schedules or those new to Horizons Edge.
- Individuals register per session. Teams are formed weekly or on-site.
- Games are structured but recreational in nature.
- Competition Level: Recreational to intermediate, depending on participant pool.
- Promotion/Relegation: Not applicable.
- Recommended Roster Size: 7–12 players
- Game Format: (2) 20-minute halves, 2–3 minutes for halftime
- Officials: (2) certified referees per game
- Game Day Check-In: All rostered participants must check in with Horizons Edge Front Desk staff.
- Players must have a Horizons Edge branded colored wristband to play in any league games. Any player who does not have a wristband will be asked to check in again.
All players must create a Dash (Daysmart) account using the registration link provided for free registration. If you don't already have a team to join, sign up as a Free Agent so team captains can connect with you. You can also check the list of teams actively looking for players and reach out to a team captain directly.
- You must have a Horizons Edge Dash account to list yourself as a Free Agent.
- Payment is required prior to being added to a team. Once payment is received, you will be officially placed on your chosen team.
Official league rules will be provided prior to the season start. Please review before your first game.
