Adult Soccer League Information
Get in the game year-round with Adult Soccer Leagues at Horizons Edge. Whether you're playing competitively or just for the love of the sport, our indoor and outdoor options offer a great way to stay active and connect with other players.
- Age Requirement: Must be 17 years and 6 months old to participate in Adult Soccer at Horizons Edge.
- 11-week season. (9) Regular season games plus a 2-week playoff for the top 4 teams in each division.
- Game Days/Times: See league information above for specific division information. Games are typically played Mondays – Thursdays beginning at 7:00pm.
- Please do not print the schedule as it is subject to change.
- Rosters must be finalized by week 6 of each league season.
- Teams must wear the same-colored jersey/shirt.
Note: Game times are subject to an earlier start or later game time based on field availability.
Schedules for each season will be released at least a week prior to the season starting. Each division must have a minimum of four (4) teams registered to run. Teams may be offered to play in a different division or season if this minimum is not met.
Divisions Offered: Men's Premier (A), Men's Competitive (B), Men's Recreation (C), COED Premier (A), COED Recreation (C), Drop-in, Social.
Premier Division
- Overview: The top tier of competition at Horizons Edge. Features the most competitive and experienced teams.
- Teams: 6–8 teams, depending on total registrations.
- Promotion/Relegation: Top-performing teams solidify their status. Lower-performing teams may be considered for relegation to Competitive Division.
Competitive Division
- Overview: The second tier — strong, competitive teams just below Premier level. A blend of rising talent and experienced players.
- Teams: 6–8 teams.
- Promotion/Relegation: Top teams earn promotion to Premier Division. Lower-ranked teams may be relegated to Recreation Division.
Recreation Division
- Overview: The middle tier. Teams remain competitive but may show more variation in skill. Ideal for teams developing consistency.
- Teams: 6–8 teams.
- Promotion/Relegation: Top teams may be promoted to Competitive Division. Lower-performing teams may be relegated to Social Division.
COED Division
- Overview: Promotes inclusive competition with mixed-gender team requirements while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Teams: 6–8 teams.
- Structure: May be structured competitively or as a standalone division depending on registration numbers.
Social Division
- Overview: Designed for recreational players focused on fun, fitness, and community. Emphasis on participation and enjoyment.
- Teams: 6–10 teams, depending on interest.
- Promotion/Relegation: Top Social teams may move into Recreation Division if they choose. No mandatory promotion or relegation.
Drop-In
- Overview: Flexible participation for individuals who want to play without committing to a full season.
- Individuals register per session. Teams are formed weekly or on-site.
- Competition Level: Recreational to intermediate, depending on participant pool.
- Recommended Roster Size: 12–15 players
- Game Format: (2) 25-minute halves, 2–3 minutes for halftime
- Officials: (1) per game
- Game Day Check-In: All rostered participants must check in with Horizons Edge Front Desk staff.
- Players must have a Horizons Edge branded color jersey/shirt.
All players must create a Dash (Daysmart) account using the registration link provided for free registration. If you don't already have a team to join, sign up as a Free Agent so team captains can connect with you.
You must have a Horizons Edge Dash account to list yourself as a Free Agent.
Payment is required prior to being added to a team. Once payment is received, you will be officially placed on your chosen team.
