About Us
Horizons Edge Sports Campus is a premier destination for sports, events, and community activity in the Shenandoah Valley. Open year-round and designed for all ages, the campus offers high-quality courts, turf fields, and experiences that bring people together to stay active, connect, and have fun.
Things to do while on site
There’s always something happening at Horizons Edge. Guests are welcome to explore the campus, join activities, and take advantage of available spaces to stay active, relax, or try something new during their stay.
Enjoy membership hours
As a guest on our campus we have special short term memberships available so you can enjoy access to our fitness center, courts and indoor or outdoor turf for activities like basketball, pickleball, volleyball, soccer, stretching, fitness, and more while staying on-site.
One-Day Membership: $10
Week Membership: $20
Purchase at the Edge Front Desk
Open Play Hours
Outside of membership hours, Open Play sessions are offered throughout the week. These sessions provide a relaxed, drop-in experience where guests can join others on the court or field for casual games and activity.
Open play is available during scheduled hours and is a $10 fee.
Clip n Climb
Take on exciting climbing challenges right here on campus. Clip ’n Climb offers a fun, active experience for kids, families, and adults looking to try something new. It’s a great option between games, in the evening, or anytime you’re ready for a little adventure.
Climbing sessions are 1-hour and start on the hour and half-hour.

Enjoying your stay? Horizons Edge also hosts meetings, retreats, and group experiences through Horizons Meetings and Retreats. With on-site lodging, activity spaces, and flexible planning options, it’s a great place to bring a group together for work, team building, or a shared getaway.

Camp Horizons
Located just outside Harrisonburg, Camp Horizons offers outdoor experiences for ages 6–17, along with programs for families, schools, and groups throughout the year. During the summer, campers enjoy week-long overnight sessions filled with activities like climbing, swimming, arts, horseback riding, and outdoor adventures, all in a supportive and welcoming community.

Camp Horizons Outdoor Learning Center hosts family camps, school programs, and group retreats, making it a great place to experience the outdoors, build confidence, and create lasting memories. Whether you’re visiting in the summer or exploring year-round programs, it’s a unique and meaningful addition to your time in the Valley.

NROCKS
Located about an hour and a half from Horizons Edge, NROCKS offers a one-of-a-kind outdoor adventure and makes a perfect day trip from Harrisonburg.
Climb the Via Ferrata, also known as the “Iron Way,” and take in incredible views as you ascend over 1,000 feet, cross a suspension bridge more than 200 feet long, and reach heights up to 280 feet.
NROCKS also offers canopy tours featuring multiple zip lines high in the trees, giving you a unique perspective of the surrounding landscape while enjoying an unforgettable experience.

Virginia Metalcraftes marketplace
Located in Waynesboro, about an hour from Horizons Edge, the Virginia Metalcrafters Marketplace is a vibrant shopping and gathering space featuring a mix of local vendors, artisans, and small businesses.
The Marketplace features businesses offering locally made coffee, beer, and wines, a tattoo parlor, music and events venue, as well as a variety of other local businesses.
The building has been restored and a great place to visit to see the history of the area as well as experience the artisan and maker community in Waynesboro.
