Signing up for Private Instruction:
- *If you would like to learn more about Private Instruction before signing up please fill out the interest form below and one of our trainers will get back to you as soon as possible.
- **For Private Instruction please register at least one week before your desired training date. This allows our trainers to set their schedules and prepare your individualized training plan.
- Visit our DaySmart Recreation page here and sign into your account
- Click “Register” in the menu located at the top of the page
- Click on who you would like to register
- A list of programs will appear, scroll down until you find “Private Instruction”
- Finally, find the “Sport” dropdown menu and select which sport you are seeking private instruction for.
- A list of available private instruction dates and times will appear and select whichever one works best for you!
- After that you are all set! If you have any questions or concerns regarding the registration process or private instruction please give us a call during business hours at (540) 340-3343.

Get one-on-one training for Performance OR Fitness, with a holistic approach to exercise and nutrition focused specifically on helping you achieve YOUR goals. Work one-on-one with our amazing, certified training personnel who will cater their approach to you and your needs/goals.
Whether you are building up to running your first 5k or trying to help your child earn that coveted college scholarship, we are results-oriented in our approach to your training, making changes along the way as we get to know your style, your needs, and your personality.

This Strength Training Group Class is designed to get you strong and mobile in a way that challenges you in aspects of balance, endurance, and strength. In this class, Coach Lohr will work to help you: reduce pain from old injuries so you can experience the better years of life without being distracted by pain, increase your strength and endurance so you can do more of the activities you enjoy with the people you love, reduce your risk of falls and subsequent injuries by improving balance and muscular power!
Class Time: Mondays from 10:30am – 11:30am @ Horizons Edge

This class focuses on improving many elements of health and the human experience. While the exercise sessions in the class will help with weight loss, improving body composition, and general strength, other important benefits include the following: improved mental health and clarity of focus, accountability through a community of like-minded women with similar goals, confidence not only in yourself but also in what your body is capable of, and increased knowledge of the facts behind wellness and how your habits influence one another and you, in turn.
Classes will combine aspects of cardio, strength training, and mobility to help you get the most out of your time and to keep you engaged in the class. Classes will be run by the Fitness Director, Coach Lohr and will last between 45 minutes and an hour.
If you are looking to improve your mental health to be more present at home for your family and friends, to lose weight and improve your energy so that you can enjoy life to the fullest, to join a like-minded community of women and empower each other to live better lives,, and to be more able to care for the ones you love, then you’ve found the right class. The Men’s Performance Group is a small-group fitness class designed to maximize strength, power, endurance, and mobility. This class is perfect for men with aches and pains from work or from taking care of kids who want to build their resilience to injury to bulletproof themselves and gain clearer focus on the things that matter: the health and longevity to be able to provide for your family for as long as life will allow, the strength to accomplish things others might not be capable of, the energy to play with your kids on their terms, the mobility and quality of movement to be able to enjoy retirement when it comes.
